Project Management is critical for the success of any software development implementation. Efficient project management can save on total project costs and ensure project success.

While there are several Industry standard project management methodologies (e.g. PMI, RUP, Agile Development e.g. Extreme programming), managing offshore projects adds a new dimension of challenges. We also have found that making use of prototypes and ongoing interactions tools in defining requirements, designing the application, and using many iterative releases during the development process works best for offshore development, rather than the traditional waterfall methodologies.

For larger projects, we recommend breaking the project down into multiple tasks that can be performed in parallel. We can have multiple teams working in parallel to fulfill each task. An obvious benefit from this approach is reduced time to market.

Real-time task management is critical. We ensure that all parties involved are continually informed about task assignments and task progress, as required. We ensure maximization of task organization and react quickly to unexpected contingencies.

Compliance of the implementation is validated by an independent team of quality assurance personnel.

And of course our goal in every project undertaking is to ensure under-budget, within-schedule delivery.
